How many people of modest means are there in the American Senate or House of Representatives? What influence does an ordinary citizens have in comparison with a large-scale corporation and its lobbyists? Is a society free when it cannot distinguish and willingly support cultural value in artistic and intellectual works, apart from their market value?”
